>>4060 Just rename them to .webm thats what i used to do to mp4's b4 Gad finally got around to enabling them
>>4061 I doubt that midis work that way at all, but if I can upload INVALID webm:s, then all you'd have to do, is change the extension. I'll try.
>>4063 I was able to save it on my phone, rename as .midi, but it won't play in vlc media player. It's only 773 bytes?
>>4064 It should be 673. It's just a test midi. You renamed it wrong. It should be .mid - not .midi.
>>4065 Turns out I'm just retarded. It works when I rename it correctly. It was a typo, I meant 673bytes.
MIDI is great therapy to get out all those songs that you get stuck in your head. Here's a little carribean Mario tune.
>>4067 Pretty groovy m8 I got a midi keyboard piano thing, I played around with it a few times with piano booster on xubuntu It has a teach ya how to play thingy.. I'm too lazy to keep at it, maybe someday I'll find the motivation I think it would be pretty cool to know what I was doing
>>4068 I considered buying one of those, but I'm so used to adding notes by mouse, and I don't have space to store it. Anvil Studio feels pretty crappy, though. It's free, but there are lag spikes when you try to cut and paste, and it feels clunky and unintuitive to use.
Another Mario tune, mostly because I want to help out MAGL creators by offering custom music for their levels.
>>4070 btw.. https://www.zamzar.com/convert/midi-to-mp4/
>>4071 Also.. https://twistedwave.com/online I choose 23db increase Now other chums can enjoy your work m8 & hear it too lel
>>4071 >>4072 Both of these mp4s sound much better than what it sounds like on my computer. Thank you. :) However, in these particular cases, I don't know which audio format level creators would prefer, and so I think I'll leave any conversions to ogg or mp4 up to them, and continue to upload the raw MIDI data.
Another Mario MAGL song, with a night/crystal theme. I am aware that my songs are very, very simple, compared to other MAGL songs, but I like unintrusive songs that just sort of hangs in the background as you play the level. This song is set to loop, so that the intro doesn't play again, but I never got "event b06f" to work. If you want to make an mp4 out of this, you should probably loop the main part four times or so, so that the intro doesn't repeat.
>>4072 I forgot to mention this site after i increased volume, and saved it as a mp3 https://www.zamzar.com/convert/mp3-to-mp4/
>>4075 Used https://twistedwave.com/online Amplified 24db A lil over modulated during the first part, but I think it sounds cool that way, at least ya can hear it tho For this one I used https://video.online-convert.com/convert/mp3-to-mp4 as I reached the free daily limit on zamar.com
>>4075 Oh god, the channel volumes are all wrong. See, on my computer, there's only two volumes on my MIDI channels: Full, and half. ...and I set the blinging way too low, because I couldn't tell. Also all the instruments sound very different.
>>4077 I redid this one with normalize instead of amplify Then I selected the quieter part (everything after the 1st quarter) individually, and ran normalize on just that part again. I think it came out better this way.
>>4078 twistedwave converts it to mono, unless you pay them sheckles.
>>4080 Thank you for attempting to improve my hopeless garbage. :)
I've increased the blinging sound channel a bit. I tried to use Twisted Wave, but it won't penetrate my firewall apps.
>>4082 For this one I used https://mid-to-mp4.file-converter-online.com/ Cause zamar.com wanted $
>>4083 twisted wav 15db ampfly and https://video.online-convert.com/convert/mp3-to-mp4
