It is time for a new /b/admin. We've had a few of them in the past. Some doxxed themselves and I let them go, some just didn't work out, and I'm not sure what happened to the very last one. If the discord admin is someone who enjoys something like 4chan's old /b/, I would give the board to him, since he seems like someone that cares and puts work into things, given what he did with our discord. If he is not interested, I will give it to a random pun anon and let's hope he does a good job. And if there are people who strongly want to /b/admin even if discord admin wants as well, I can do some sort of lottery to see who wins. What I can't do right now is have multiple mods for /b/ at this moment, it would not work well due to a lack of mod audit tool. In the past, I kinda tried letting badmins sort their own rules, and just asked to try and make something that rewards creativity, but I felt the rules were always messy and not objective. So this time I'm handing down the rules I feel work well with an official /b/ board, and ask that the admin respects it: >1) On topic threads are for creative content. Someone saying something that wasn't said before, someone asking users to post cows on fish chan, people making their own variations of some image. Anything that is creative or inspires people to be creative. As philosoraptor says, it can't be called random if it is always the same threads and reposts. >2) Anything else is off topic. Political discussions, talking about people (especially if in romantic or sexual manner), waifus, personal blog posts, requests. This is to ensure we never end like 4chan's /b/, which was once the main board now has become a boring place for posting porn.

>>25855 >You don't get it dood. We're all waiting until you either die or give up and fuck off. No one wants to be associated with a site with your low tier posting. Again with the "It's not me - it's the jews!" shit. Nobody's buying your narrative, dumbass. We all know that you're just a lazy bum who didn't post shit before I got here, and still won't post shit if I'd leave. Stop being an insult to whites. > just remove /pol/ from the official board list >You didn't need to post a whole paragraph to just request this. >We all know what (((your))) assignment is here, kike shill. I can just picture you at the grave of /pol/ going "NOOO!!! Not /pol/! I had so many quality posts to post! I would make it beautiful, but the jews ruined it for me! I'm not a lazy slob - it's the jews!".

Gonna review the 2016 movie Morgan. Spoiler warning. I've already watched this movie, two years prior to this movie. Back then it was called Ex Machina and it was a much, much better movie. The story of this movie is just a sloppy mess. It features a research branch with no professionalism in it, developing something slow and useless, and every piece of dialogue is made to be as ambiguous and "mysterious" as possible, just to hook your attention along, and in the end there's just no resolve: Was Morgan good or bad? Nobody knows. All that we know is that she could cry a lot. For all we know, she was just human, which is no surprise, since we're shown that she is half human form the beginning. There's just nothing going on here. ...and nobody can handle a firearm in this movie. They always want to use their guns at point blank, and they spill ammo all over the floor. I've come to expect this sort of emotional meltdown from Ridley Scott's works, and apparently his son is the same. ...so to sum it up, Morgan was Ex Machina without anything being clever. The ending twist was predictable as well, so it wasn't clever either. It was just another insult to rationality. 2 out of 5.

>>783 is it so bad that its funny or just straight out boring?

>>

>>784 It's a "Get to the point!" kind of movie: It sets up a premise - Is Morgan good or bad? - and then it just meanders around narrowingly avoiding that premise, and ultimately never resolves it. It's an irrational, emotional movie. If you like that sort of tone, then I guess watching people behaving like absolute morons and lunatics, could be exciting to you.

Lets face it. Every genre film of the past and present will be remade, re-imagined or rebooted. Its a simple and sometimes cheap method to reintroduce a classic franchise to a new generation and remakes are the most rampant in the horror genre. Now don’t get me wrong, there have been some stellar remakes that have gone on to become classics of their own. Fright Night I thought was fun, Dawn of the Dead I loved and John Carpenter’s The Thing will always be a horror classic. What makes remakes like those standout, is the fact that they had something outstanding to offer and helped to elevate the genre.

Family strategies are still offered for present as well as new customers of Google Play Music. There will certainly be no podcasts on YouTube Songs or YouTube Music Premium. Rather, you can access podcasts via Google Play Songs, or Google Search on Android, along with the Google Assistant. https://putlockerc.co

I actually got bored enough to watch Child's Play 2019 yesterday. I've avoided the original, since the concept of a slasher movie and a talking doll, seemed puerile, especially with the sequels where he apparently gets married to another doll. This movie was equally puerile: The story looks like it's been written by a teenager, and the gore-presented-as-comedy is there to entertain the psychopaths. I thought, in my bored desperation, that we'd get a mature movie about dolls powered by an AI that's smart, but Chucky is braindamaged, and so are all the adults as well, so all we get is psycho-kid's entertainment. This is a movie that you should keep your children AWAY from when you're not making love to them, or they'll turn out wrong in the head. Looking at Rotten Tomatoes, it didn't like this movie either. Many say that the original is better, but I call bullshit. 1/5

Has anyone seen Blade Runner 2049? How does it compare to the original or Villeneuves other work?

>>718 my wife and i wish we could un-see it.

>>

>>736 Holy crap, why? Was it so bad? I haven't seen it yet, could you tell why you didn't like it without spoilers?

>>

>>729 >hurr durr what does it mean to be a human etc etc This post upset me but I am unable to argue why its important

>>

>>718 I thought it was pretty cringey and tedious. The plot didn't have the same stakes or impact as the original. They're both action movies, but in the original, you feel like Dickard is in genuine danger, because he actually fucking is. In the sequel, Gosling, the man with one expression, is pretty much a superhero who is "nigh invulnerable", which is much less suspenseful and as a result, much less interesting. . . . I dunno, pretty much everything was better about the original, like the villain, and the philosophy, etc. I mean, the movie was never really supposed to have a sequel to begin with, with how ambiguous the ending is. It's supposed to be a question with no answer.

>>

>>754 yup, everything stated here. also, it has the usual hollyjew trope with, suprise! womyn are the savior, not you! at the end. it's the sequel that no one asked for and no one got.

recently watched films and my opinion: Elephant 2003: good film a bit slow but I don't mind that, more of a recount to be fair black mass: probably not bad stopped an hour in, as I've seen too many films with such a similar storyline the matrix: always a good watch, still don't understand half the shit they talk about, those films were very unclear in their explanations Air Doll 2009: I watched this because I have a crush on Bae doona, fairly shittiny film tho Tunnel 2016: same reason as above but this film is actually pretty good, not sure if based on real world event :/ steve jobs 2015: would recommend to watch, gives an accurate representation of steve jobs and is well acted/filmed

https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/la_la_land It is getting VERY good scores. I must admit I have a tiny crush on Emma and Goose is who I envision I look like in my dreams (just a bit taller). The only problem is it doesn't play in my normal theater I go to so I'd have to travel quite a bit by bus or something. >Has anyone seen it? >Is it good? >Does it being a musical hurt or help the movie? >Any catchy music? For reference I enjoy the fuck out of the Grease series (showing my age. you young kids probably don't even know about the man - Pussy slayer Travolta) and Les Mis and most other musicals. Like Sweeney Todd Annie Shit like that

I know it is just preference but I enjoyed "The Thieves" just a tad more than "The Con Artists" Either way they were both very good and I recommend them to people who enjoy Asian action/thriller movies This is Action/Humor but this is probably a bit why I like "The Thieves" a bit more since it has this guy and I saw him in movie below and it was REALLY funny & good so I highly recommend movie below for Action/Humor series akin to maybe......Get Smart? Or that Mr. Bean movie where he is a spy. Like that but Asian http://mydramalist.com/5947-secretly-greatly

the reviews are all GLOWING, 9.5 ratings and such. The new Pennywsie is 'posed to be better then Tim Curry... and he was awesome. must see in the theater , IMO. , its worth chancing 9 bucks but they have taken out the Ritual of Chud AND [more important], the sewer gang-bang scene , these two decisions were stupid, but not deal breakers [Breakers' not used as a pun]

REVIEWS FOR 'IT' clowns can be both scary and funny, but mostly scary. Personally, I’ve never found one remotely funny. The makeup with funny paint and red nose may look hilarious, but if you look closely… frightening. It, the novel, is considered by a lot of Stephen King fans as his scariest story, and that is saying something. To understand the premise of It, imagine Stranger Things with slightly older kids and an infinitely more powerful monster. Calling themselves the Loser’s Club, the group led by Bill Denbrough have to face bullies in school, and we all know bullies can be nasty. But no bully can be compared to It, a being which appears in the form of a clown called Pennywise, but is not really a clown. It is actually an entity that existed before our universe and came from a different reality. It has been adapted before as a television miniseries in the 1990s and was received well. But take it from somebody who has read it – translating the horror factor of the novel faithfully to the screen is nigh impossible. But one can try. It also called It: Part 1 – The Losers’ Club, is the first part of the planned duology, and if the first trailer is something to go by, it is going to be downright scary. So yeah trailer is good, but it is a capital mistake to judge a film by its trailer. But what about those who have actually seen it? Well, a bunch of critics got the chance to watch this film before its release, and the good news is all that of them agree that It is a very good horror film and also an excellent adaptation of the novel
