I might take Enrive down temporarily, for some months to a year if interest in it remains this low. Since 2016, there were enough lurkers that the server costs were paying for itself with ads. So even if posting was low or we had no activity, I lost nothing by keeping us online. But at this moment, there are very few people browsing the site compared to what it used to be during 2014-2017 and ads only pay for 1/3 of the costs. It has gotten expensive to continue keeping us up when we have almost no posters, and when I have become so busy with my other business that I don't think I'll be able to code Enrive for a while. While I'll miss this place, there is no justification to keep it online if people are not interested in it, and it would be a better strategy to take it offline and only bring it back online in the future when I have finished coding it, or have more spare time and money to invest in it. If you like Enrive and want to support it and would prefer to keep it online, then help make the site grow at least a little. Doubling our Online Users to an 80 average should be enough that at least it is not a monetary burden on me any longer. I know that at least one person seems to be banned from every forum out there and Enrive is his only outlet, but due to the costs I may not be able to keep us up just for 1 or 2 people posting. Not with the world in the current monetary crisis it is. If I take us offline I will do so in 2 to 3 months. Enough time to mature the idea and I don't think I want to expend more money than that when I have been doing so for a year now. And just to be clear, it's not about the money, it is about the money + little interest on the website. The money I can save for not hosting us for a year may be much better spend re-hosting us in the future when the site is fully developed and where I can also put the time to work further on it.

With E3 almost over, I've concluded that gaming is over. Gaming is dead. I hate everything about what gaming has become, and there's just nothing that can save it. "Be a hero. Live a power fantasy. Fight the darkness. Maybe get a girl." <-- This is every plotline now. Gone are the days when there was something original going on, that wasn't "build your own console out of cardboard" Nintendo bullshit. Games have nothing to bring to the table anymore, because they're created by big corps who wants to play it safe and stroke your ego instead of challenging you. Every fucking game is just one big long wank of little boy penis. It is bullshit in pastel colors from start to finish. Fuck gaming. I mean that with a passion, from the heart of a former games dev and gamer. Gaming ruins lives. Even the words "gaming" and "gamer" is so cringy, like it's an identity to feel proud over. You're all utter retards. Fuck you. Exterminatus on all of you. Go die.
At this point there are literally HUNDREDS - maybe THOUSANDS of games - where you're a chosen hero in a medieval setting out to save the world with your fellow chosen allies. ...but it's still treated like it's something fantastically new and worth playing. Why?????????????????????????????? This is so retarded I can't even breathe!
Are you ready for a fifthieth Pokémon game, retards? I heard you liked it the first 49 times, and so here we go again - oh boy!
I can't remember when I last played something really worth playing - that really was worth spending even $20 and worth sinking a week into. No, let me correct myself with a few games that I enjoyed: - Factorio and Satisfactory was pretty fun, Factorio being the most fun. - Touhou Luna Nights was fun, since it wasn't the horrible original games. - Dead Cells WAS fun, until they changed the upgrade system to a bullshit one. - Haydee was awesome from an artistical standpoint. Notice how none of these games has come from the big corps?
>>574 /c/onsole gaming is dead /pc/ gaming is alive and well, and gameplay-wise the best it has ever been (just not graphics wise as AAA studios mostly only make shit)
>>577 >Notice how none of these games has come from the big corps? I've noticed that back in 2008, and stopped playing AAA games altogether save the witcher, and some others. I probably play 1 big corp game for every 100 old or indie games I play - probably an even smaller ratio. Stick to good games, and ignore the games with heavy marketing every normalfag talks about.
https://www.pcgamesn.com/rayman/rayman-snes-prototype-pc >you can play a forgotten SNES Rayman game on PC >A long-lost prototype was recently uploaded by Lizardcube founder Omar Cornut, with the blessing of Rayman's creator. Ancel himself actually happened upon the prototype last year, and now Cornut has taken it upon himself to share with the masses via Dropbox.
>>535 been torrenting this shit for 10 years on pc. EZ NOSTALGIA
>>549 sage goes in all fields.
>>535 It looks awful. SNES clearly couldnt handle it
_ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ_PS4 thread_ᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ_ ITT post your >fav game >game playing atm >what you're anticipated for this year
Stopped playing my PS4 because I can't stand the airplane noise it makes anymore. Last game I played was Bloodborne and I loved it, even though the frame-rate and loading times were atrocious. By the way, is Horizon any good? It's the only game which still kind of interests me, but I'm afraid that it's just another Far Cry-like game. Also, All the footage I've seen only has like 4 or 5 different dino-bots, which seems pretty lackluster.
