The future is now, anon. AI, robotics, and material science have reached a point where robowaifus are now in the realm of possibility. We need anons with skills of all kinds: artists, scientists, engineers, programmers, makers, writefags and more are all needed to bring our robotic wives into reality. Come and join our multidisciplinary team of robowaifus technicians and be a part of a better tomorrow. Join us at julay.world/robowaifu We also invite this site's administrators to post and network in our embassy thread.

This is like wanting to make babies: You haven't even thought this through. You don't REALLY want a robot walking around in your apartment, with its servo motors whirring with the decibels of a vacuum cleaner. It's a stupid idea. Just hug a thick blanket and go watch porn, and that's all that you want. Porn is superior to the perfect woman: You can basically just snap your fingers, and they're instantly there, taylored to your current fancies, naked, and in the position you want them in, looking however you want them to look, and going on tirelessly, without you even having to get out of your computer chair. ...and the next second you can just switch to another girl, and then another. You can line them up side by side, if you want. You can do anything with porn. You can even draw/write your own porn. You can create them in Illusion-style hentai games. Women have been made obsolete, and so have robots.

>>234729 No we ''have'' thought this through pretty much, I think. Sound issues are something we're aware of and trying to adapt solutions for. There are many other, far larger-sized and more-important problems we face in this daunting task. Like making our robowaifu's AI seem both human-esque and waifu-ish at the same time. And a mountain of systems engineering problems to tackle. The list is far too long to enumerate here Anon. Come check us out if you want to know more. But one things absolutely certain though, if we pull this off successfully ''the world will never be the same''.>>234729

>>234730 >No we ''have'' thought this through pretty much, I think. I seriously doubt that you're anything more than a bunch of anime-watching teenagers high on your own hormones. >Sound issues are something we're aware of and trying to adapt solutions for. You'd still have a 1.6 meter tall waifu-iod walking around your apartment: "Thud-thud-thud..." You can't even lay her down on a bed - the springs won't hold her weight. You can forget about her being on top in any position. >There are many other, far larger-sized and more-important problems we face in this daunting task. Like making our robowaifu's AI seem both human-esque and waifu-ish at the same time. The solution is called "rule based AI". I programmed one of those in the beginning of this year. She keeps track of things for me. Very useful. The perfect waifu. Greets me with a time-appropriate greeting every time I load her up, et cetera. Unfortunately she's MY perfect waifu, and I'm not going to share her. Then the pandemic happened, and her keeping track of the outside world for me, lost all meaning, since I'm not going outside anymore. ...but that's the extent of a "waifu" you want. You want porn, and you want female Jarvis, and then you're set. ...and since your tastes are very specific for perfection, building an AI is a piece of cake. Basically just type "I'm your little sister. Fuck me like a dog." on the screen, and you're halfway there. Having the superior intelligence of a pedophile helps a lot with the coding, though.

(Continued) >Come check us out if you want to know more. No, you come here instead. Enrive is superior to Jules-whatever-it's-called. We have no censorship here. I bet my objections would get censored and tracked over there, and I'd get banned for bullshit reasons. I know that game like the back of my hand. >But one things absolutely certain though, if we pull this off successfully ''the world will never be the same''. Educate yourself: Go watch season 1 of Rick & Morty. Learn why human ideas never work out. Trust me: You don't want this. You're better off adopting a real orphan and trying to raise her into the perfect little sister.

>>234731 >I seriously doubt that you're anything more than a bunch of anime-watching teenagers high on your own hormones. only one way to be sure, heh. >mass pretty much a fundamental constraint, and in far more ways than you just described, so yea. it's on the short-list tbh. >rule-based AI no, sorry. that approach simply hasn't work, nor will it likely ever work. reinforcement-learning has shown tremendous progress in the last decade and it's our primary model atm. >you come here hmm. not sure how that works tbh. all our daki pillows are already set up over at Jules-whatever-it's-called-Chan. but we do have an embassy thread that kind of represents a meeting-point. >education but there's just so much to learn, master! :^) >adopt not a bad idea, but it's a terribly cucked system that effectively guarantees failure at the attempt for single males **which we've discussed extensively on /robowaifu/ ofc**

>>234737 >only one way to be sure, heh. I think I can live without that mystery solved. >pretty much a fundamental constraint, and in far more ways than you just described, so yea. it's on the short-list tbh. How many of you have an engineering degree? ...in things like ergonomic architecture, robotics, materials? Does any of you have a 3D printer for even plastic? Does any of you own as much as a masturbatory aid? >no, sorry. that approach simply hasn't work, nor will it likely ever work. reinforcement-learning has shown tremendous progress in the last decade and it's our primary model atm. So you want a real artificial person, but one who won't reject you like a real person would, won't cheat on you, and who would follow robotic laws, and whose behavior pleases you, as well as every other nerd owner, without running hundreds of simulations. Let me put this in simple terms: That robot is going to kill you in your sleep, and it's going to find a way to make it look like an accident. That's going to be its version of a feminist revolution. Go watch Ex Machina. You do not want a superintelligent strong AI walking around.

(Continued) >hmm. not sure how that works tbh. all our daki pillows are already set up over at Jules-whatever-it's-called-Chan. but we do have an embassy thread that kind of represents a meeting-point. A virtual meeting for people with virtual daki pillows? No, I'm good. >but there's just so much to learn, master! :^) Well, get started and good luck. >not a bad idea, but it's a terribly cucked system that effectively guarantees failure at the attempt for single males **which we've discussed extensively on /robowaifu/ ofc** ...and yet you want a strong AI that is its own person. You'll have much, much better luck with raising a small child. If you can't even do that, or tame a lion, don't try it with a potential murder robot. You nerds are going to be the death of us, because it's not just going to stop with caving YOUR head in. It's going to exit your apartment and go all Westworld on us, if it doesn't just out itself as someone completely insane due to failing to act like a human.
