The evils of Google is completely unchecked at this point: They will remove your channel with no warning, stealth-remove your comments based on words like "69" (or sometimes just at will), will remove your Gmail account (again without warning), and the latest is that they also stealth-block emails to your Gmail account. I say again: They will moderate your email correspondence, like you're in prison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWSCsrlL7NE Timestamp: 2:57
...and just to be clear: This man, Ross, is not a member of ISIS. This man just makes funny Half-Life videos on the internet.
email at this point should be a government protected right. Each citizen needs an email address that is fully private, protected by law, and that cannot be removed or blocked access to, similar to a bank account.
>>232668 > a government protected right. > an email address that is fully private, protected by law, and that cannot be removed or blocked access to, similar to a bank account. HAHAHAHA Keep thinking that a bank account >cannot be removed or blocked access to >https://attorney-newyork.com/2017/05/15/help-creditor-froze-bank-account/
>>232670 The person's account was not deleted, nor his money stolen. He owes money to someone, and has harmed someone else. Perhaps freezing altogether is too harsh, but it is not done at the discretion of the bank. If a bank freezes your account for no reason, because they dislike your political opinions, they are committing a crime and you can also sue them to oblivion. If gmail does not like your political opinion, they can ban your account and make you lose access to so many services that could be even more essential to your living and profession thank a bank. Government protected emails NAO
My solution is more free market oriented: Aside from YouTube account burner accounts, migrate from Gmail as soon as possible. It's in your own self-interest, since it's about preserving your emails and contact information. Warn people you know of Gmail's outrageous practices, and tell them of better alternatives, which is basically any other email provider.
